Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient event technician to join our team you must have technical knowledge of event industry AV, audio, video, lighting or rigging kit. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, handling various tasks related to materials management, stocking, and logistics. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Manage inventory using a warehouse management system, ensuring accurate stock levels. Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting when necessary. Engage in picking and packing orders for shipping and receiving processes. Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling and storage. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with stocking and materials handling procedures. Proficiency in operating forklifts; certification is advantageous but not mandatory as training may be provided. Experience with shipping and receiving processes will be considered an asset. A background in any part of live events production is considered and multiple opportunities are available.
