Field Debt Resolution Officer (B2B Commercial Debts) - M25 corridor / London and surrounding areas
Compensation: £35,000 / year + possible bonuses and car allowance
Department: YUS - FT13 - General Engineers
Location: M25 Corridor/London (Covering London North, residing North of the Thames)
Location type: Field-based
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
Reports to: The Field Debt Leaders (FDLs)
Responsibilities
* Conduct face-to-face visits to B2B customer sites to recover debt and enable agreed meter installations.
* Train, coach, and mentor engineers to be confident and professional B2B debt operatives.
* Work independently or lead and support other team members on Warrant visits while ensuring safety, professionalism, and compliance at all times.
* Work closely with support teams to drive improvements in field operations and customer outcomes.
* Provide accurate reporting and objective feedback to help evolve our processes.
* Always ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards—be a role model for operational excellence.
* Handle and resolve (or escalate) customer disputes effectively and in line with company values.
Skills, knowledge and experience
* Proven experience in field debt resolution with a minimum of 12 months of field debt experience (industry/discagn optional).
* High level of professionalism and ability to lead by example.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong face-to-face rapport building.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities; composed and professional in challenging situations.
* Proactive, assertive, persuasive with problem-solving mindset and adaptability to change.
* Competent in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook).
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
