Key Responsibilities: - Support the QHSE Manager: Assist in maintaining all accreditations including ISO9001, 14001, 45001, and BRC. - Guidance and Advice: Provide expert advice to managers, supervisors, and employees on all health and safety matters. - Compliance: Ensure adherence to local regulatory HSE requirements and company policies. - Risk Assessment: Help teams identify hazards, assess risks, and implement controls to manage and reduce risks. - Operational Procedures: Develop safe operational procedures that account for all relevant hazards. - Incident Management: Record, report, and investigate incidents and near misses. - Training and Coaching: Conduct HSE training sessions and educate the workforce on safety expectations and lessons learned from previous incidents. - Audits and Inspections: Perform safety audits and inspections to evaluate safety culture and compliance. - Environmental Management: Ensure proper waste segregation and measure required environmental parameters. - Contractor Management: Oversee contractors and consultants in all aspects of health and safety. Qualifications and Experience: - Certifications: NEBOSH General Certification and TechIOSH - Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an FMCG environment. - Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, risk assessment, problem-solving, teamwork, conflict resolution, and adaptability.
