Teaching Personnel are recruiting a full-time Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in Rushden, starting January.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced support staff who are looking to gain valuable experience within secondary education.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and engaged in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising whole classes within secondary schools
Delivering pre-set work and instructions
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Creating a safe, positive, and productive learning environment
Providing feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with young people aged 11–16 (or 11–18)
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
Professional, flexible, and reliable
Strong communication and organisational skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel)
