Duties as Reception Year Teacher: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe and supported. Use observation and assessment effectively to track children's progress and plan next steps. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children's development. Encourage children's personal, social, and emotional growth through structured play and interactive learning experiences. Maintain a well-organised and engaging learning space with high-quality resources. Ideal Reception Year Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in Early Years education. Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles. A creative and engaging approach to teaching that inspires young learners. Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children as a Reception Year Teacher.
