The shift pattern for this post is: 7.5 & 11.25hr ay & night shifts with weekends & public holidays.
We are excited to be recruiting to 4 permanent positions for Health Care Support Workers in the Imaging Departments of Clyde Sector within NHS GG&C. These positions offer 37 hours per week.
We seek dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team, providing essential support to patients within the Imaging Department. The role involves assisting with patient preparation and care before, during, and after examinations. Additionally, it includes working with Radiology IT systems to ensure accurate patient identification and aiding in the efficient flow of patients, including IV cannulation.
These positions require flexibility, as shifts will include: 9am-5pm &12-hour day and night rotations, weekends, and Public Holidays, 5/7. Successful candidates will be patient-focused and possess extensive experience as clinical support workers in a hospital setting.
The role involves rotating between the main 'Hub' site at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley and Inverclyde Royal Hospital in Greenock.

As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
