A well-regarded and inclusive school in Wardle, Rochdale is looking to appoint a skilled Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs. This is a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP or from January 2026, depending on your availability.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner who thrives in a supportive, structured environment and is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
What you'll be doing:
 * Providing high-quality 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs
 * Implementing personalised support strategies in collaboration with the SENCO and class teachers
 * Promoting emotional regulation, independence, and positive behaviour
 * Supporting students both in and outside the classroom to help them engage in their learning
 * Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment
We're looking for someone who:
 * Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
 * Has experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ideally in a school setting
 * Is confident, calm, and adaptable to meet individual needs
 * Works well within a team and communicates effectively with staff, pupils, and parents
 * Has a DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one)
