iconic Olympia London, and we’re on the lookout for an experienced and
enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our team from 15th of
October 2025.
About the Role
We are
looking for a talented and reliable Sous Chef to support the Head Chef
and Executive Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of our kitchen. You will
play a key role in maintaining high culinary standards, managing the kitchen
brigade, ensuring food safety compliance, and contributing to a smooth and
efficient service.
What
We’re Looking For:
* Proven
experience as Sous Chef in a high-standard kitchen.
* Strong
cooking and presentation skills across multiple sections
* Solid
understanding of food safety practices (e.g., HACCP).
* Excellent
time management, communication, and organizational skills.
* Willingness
to learn and contribute to ongoing kitchen improvements.
Key
Responsibilities
· Support the Head Chef and Executive
Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations.
· Lead the kitchen team in the absence
of the Head Chef, ensuring consistency in food quality, timing, and
presentation.
· Supervise daily food preparation and
assist in planning and executing menus.
· Ensure all food is prepared in
accordance with company standards, recipes, and food safety guidelines.
· Train, mentor, and guide junior
chefs and kitchen staff.
· Oversee section cleanliness and
organization, ensuring compliance with hygiene and health & safety
standards.
· Contribute to maintaining kitchen
morale and a positive working environment.
