We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Health Visitor to become part of NE HSCP Children & Families Health Visiting Team 3. We have the opportunity to recruit to x 1 Post within Easterhouse Health Centre (31 hours) Specialist Community Public Health Nurse/Health Visitor to our children and families teams with a designated caseload within the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
* Provide a high quality, culturally sensitive, safe person centered and effective health visiting service in the community.
* Work in collaboration with partner agencies and manage your caseload to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the universal health visiting pathway and additional programmes of care.
* Function as an independent, autonomous practitioner with knowledge, expertise and experience in health visiting and the GIRFEC/National practice model Framework.
* Undertake continuous professional development and participate in bi-monthly caseload management and child protection supervision with a team leader.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with the NMC.
* Post registration qualification in Health Visiting/Public Health Nursing with evidence of continuing professional development.
* Relevant post registration experience as a PHN/Health Visitor.
* Desirable: car driver and a current driving licence.
