We are looking for a Permanent Grade 7 Supervisory Senior Support Worker (30 hours per week) to join our team in Macclesfield. In this role, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team, ensuring person-centred, outcome-focused support. You will oversee care plans, medication, health & safety compliance, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional care.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives on responsibility, teamwork, and making a positive impact. Flexibility is essential, as you will work on a 4‑week rota including alternate weekends and sleep‑in duties.

About the Role
As a Supervisory Senior Support Worker, you will:
* Provide day‑to‑day and group supervision of Community Support Workers to ensure high‑quality care and support.
* Ensure individual care plans are outcome‑focused, implemented effectively, and reviewed in a timely manner.
* Liaise with professionals, carers, and other agencies to deliver coordinated support.
* Deliver induction and training to staff and maintain compliance with statutory regulations.
* Monitor service quality, maintain accurate records, and ensure health and safety standards are met.
* Resolve day‑to‑day issues and promote teamwork and efficient working practices.

About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Holds (or is committed to completing within 12 months) NVQ Level 3 in Social Care or equivalent.
* Has experience working in a social care or health care setting, including supervisory responsibilities.
* Possesses strong communication, interpersonal, and IT skills.
* Can motivate and lead a team, resolve HR issues, and maintain accurate documentation.
* Is resilient and able to handle challenging situations professionally.
