Job Description: Support the class teacher in delivering a
stimulating ,
play-based curriculum
in line with the
EYFS Framework Create a
safe ,
nurturing, and
inclusive
environment that encourages
exploration ,
independence, and
early curiosity Assist with
observations ,
record-keeping, and
learning journeys
to track progress and inform next steps Build
positive relationships
with children, parents, and colleagues to support both
academic and emotional development Contribute to the wider school community through
creative activities ,
outdoor learning, and
school events
The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience working in an
EYFS setting
(nursery or reception) Hold a relevant
Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification
(desirable but not essential) Be a
patient ,
adaptable, and
playful
practitioner with a strong understanding of
child development Demonstrate a commitment to
inclusive education ,
safeguarding, and
child wellbeing Possess excellent
communication ,
teamwork, and
organisational
skills Be passionate about
early learning ,
continuous development, and
making a difference from day one
