Job Description Join us as a Team Administrator to provide high quality, confidential secretarial support to the Safety, Risk, ORM & Governance Manager and general administrative support to the Safety & Risk team - including the transference and filing of documentation to approved formats/locations and ensuring that the safety management system remains structured, and audit ready. Duties include: Providing support to the Safety, Risk, ORM & Governance Manager e.g. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders Have a good understanding/awareness of the key activities, issues and priorities of the H&S team Management and synchronisation of diaries Accurate management and processing of confidential information Production and writing up of presentations, weekly and monthly reports, and other documentation for publication Organisation and coordination of meetings Preparation of papers, collation and distribution of minutes and other reports Filtering and responding to internal and external queries Providing day to day Safety & Risk administration support to the Safety & Risk Team Updating/maintaining the Safety Management System database for the department Preparing (formats) documents for the Safety & Risk department Assists the Safety & Risk department with assembly of support documents Act as a resource for general administrative enquiries and information Maintenance of various Safety & Risk registers Compile and prepare reports on a weekly monthly basis Assisting with the organization and administration of Safety & Risk campaigns Qualifications Qualifications: 5 years’ experience in a similar administration role Post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field (e.g. BTEC in Business Studies or a Secretarial Diploma) Technical Knowledge: Experience in mining, oil & gas or construction would be desirable Excellent keyboard skills - must be highly accurate & have a typing speed of around 90 WPM High level of familiarity/capability with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi, SharePoint etc.) IOSH Managing Safely would be advantageous NEBOSH General Certificate would be advantageous Additional Information Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills Compliant with internal review processes Confidentiality and accuracy are key
