This is an opportunity to work on high-profile aerospace programmes in a cutting-edge precision engineering environment.The Role You will be responsible for machining components within a high-precision manufacturing environment, supporting advanced aerospace projects.Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and adjust 5-axis turning and milling machinesMonitor production quality and machine performanceWork with Manufacturing Engineers on new part introductionFollow process layouts, work instructions, and compliance standardsSupport TPM and maintenance activitiesEnsure material flow, tooling availability, and SWIP monitoringContribute to continuous improvement and lean initiativesAdhere to all EHS and safety proceduresEssential Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years CNC setting & operating experienceExperience in a precision engineering/manufacturing environmentKnowledge of 5-axis machines and inspection equipmentNVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent)Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a teamDesirable Apprentice-trained backgroundExperience with new technology or cell introductionsProactive, problem-solving mindsetShift Pattern Week 1 – Earlies:Monday–Thursday: 6:00am – 1:30pmFriday: 6:00am – 1:00pmWeek 2 – Lates:Monday–Thursday: 1:15pm – 9:00pmFriday: 1:00pm – 7:00pmMorson Benefits Weekly payCompetitive PAYE & Umbrella ratesAccess to contractor benefitsOnsite Morson supportOpportunity to work with a global aerospace leaderPotential for long-term opportunitiesTPBN1_UKTJ
