CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator Location: Leatherhead Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Salary Range: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) Overtime: Available as required Late Shift Uplift: 30% uplift for late shifts worked Job Purpose of a CNC programmer To set, program, and operate 3- to 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision components. The role includes supporting R&D with prototyping and development work, verifying and approving CNC programs using Cimco, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across production processes. Key Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate 3 and 5 axis CNC milling machines to produce precision-engineered components. Approve and verify CNC programs using Cimco software. Support R&D teams with prototyping and new product development. Ensure work is completed to the required quality, accuracy, and delivery standards. Conduct first-off inspections and maintain quality control throughout the production run. Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and workflow across production processes. Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized.
