Main duties of the job
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated workforce administrator to join the Women and Newborn management team, overseeing the rota co-ordination of the Breast Consultant Team.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
* Writing assigned medical rotas, ensuring on-call and clinical commitments are sufficiently covered on a day-to-day basis.
* In liaison with the relevant individuals, populate and maintain the Healthroster system for agreed Health rosters, in line with trust policies and procedures.
* Act as a central contact for doctors and local co-ordinators within the Care Group for all holiday and maternity leave, resignations, sickness reporting and rota issues.
Experience/skills
Knowledge across a range of administrative work procedures including non-routine elements.
Detailed knowledge of admin procedures and working processes.
Significant experience as a secretary or administrative assistant in a customer-focused environment.

Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience
Essential criteria
* NVQ Level 4 or equivalent relevant experience
* Experience in a complex administrative environment with considerable experience of setting up systems and processes.
* Experience in gathering and analysing complex data using Excel
* Proven experience understanding and producing complex data with considerable experience dealing with end users.
* Up to date on relevant legislation, e.g. employment law and working time regulations.
Desirable criteria
* Previous NHS Experience
* Evidence of advising on NHS conditions of service and Trust policies and procedures.
* Experience of using Electronic Staff Record (ESR)
* Experience of using Allocate software, Healthroster, eRota, eJobPlan
