Conservation Architect Job in Winchester, Hampshire

With their projects being featured in a number of industry and lifestyle publications on a regular basis, the practice’s portfolio of projects ranges from beautiful historical buildings and private homes to commercial properties and interiors in the UK and internationally.
Due to new major conservation projects, they now require Conservation Architects or Project Architects with experience across all RIBA stages to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Work on bespoke, high-end conservation and heritage projects throughout the UK and internationally
2. The first project you will work on is a major grade-one-listed building
3. Produce detailed hand drawings
4. Detailing joinery drawings
5. Scheduling
6. Carry out project research
7. Speaking with and dealing with clients, including site visits and surveys
8. Working across all RIBA stages across a variety of projects
9. Working with the interior design team
10. Produce high-quality design and technical drawings, with detailed joinery fittings in a traditional style
11. Visiting site weekly.
Required Skills & Experience
12. Experience in bespoke detailing on traditional, high end or classical projects
13. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the UK
14. Part III qualified or Part II qualified with extensive experience
15. Contract administration and technical knowledge
16. Passion for classical and traditional architecture
17. Experience in the preservation and refurbishment of historic buildings.
18. Due to the location of the project in Wiltshire you will require your own transport.

19. Salary of £35,000 – £43,000 DOE
