The Role:
1. Manage all commercial aspects of construction / mechanical projects, including cost control and budget management
2. Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery
3. Identify commercial risks and maximise project profitability
4. Review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier contracts
5. Monitor financial performance and produce reports for senior management
6. Prepare cost/value reconciliations, interim valuations, and final accounts
7. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and support junior team members
8. Assist with monthly cost and margin reporting
The Person:
9. 3+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
10. Strong knowledge of contracts and relevant regulations
11. MEP experience – not essential
12. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
13. Proficient in cost estimation and financial reporting
14. Organised, solutions-focused, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
15. RICS membership desirable but not essential
16. Full, clean UK/ROI driving licence with flexibility to travel to Greater Dublin sites
