Field Account Manager – OTE £100k – Uncapped Commission Structure
Overview
Our Account Managers are instrumental in delivering an excellent customer experience and helping our customers realise the full benefits of Safetykleen’s products and services.
You’ll manage and grow a portfolio of approximately 70 live accounts across Tyne and Wear and surrounding area.
This is a field‑based role with travel aligned to customer needs.
What you’ll be doing
* Strategic account management – supporting customers so their needs are anticipated, service is consistent, retention is strong, and partnerships are long.
* Growing revenue and value – building and executing account strategies that grow profitable revenue, drive upsell and cross‑sell, and position Safetykleen as their partner of choice.
* Building senior stakeholder relationships – developing trusted relationships with the teams using our solutions daily and director‑level and senior decision makers, presenting tailored, value‑led solutions and securing long‑term contracts and extensions.
* Owning results – consistently aiming to meet and exceed sales targets, using account performance data and insight to refine your approach and unlock new growth opportunities.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a confident communicator and active listener who builds trust quickly, and is comfortable negotiating and influencing to achieve positive outcomes for all parties involved.
Highly organised and efficient, able to manage time and priorities effectively across multiple accounts. Brings resilience and tenacity, stays positive under pressure, and bounces back quickly from setbacks.
A valid UK driving licence is essential for this field‑based role.

* Base salary £32,000 – £35,000 in first year; OTE £60k (uncapped) in first year, £80k in second year.
