ISQ Recruitment is supporting a well-established automotive business in the Watford area with the recruitment of an experienced Service Advisor to join their busy aftersales team.
This is a great opportunity for a customer-focused Service Advisor who enjoys working in a fast-paced automotive environment, managing bookings, supporting customers, and helping ensure the smooth running of the service department.
The role would suit someone local to Watford or within a realistic commute, as the working hours are longer and include alternate Saturday mornings.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for service customers
* Book vehicles into the workshop and manage service schedules
* Liaise with technicians, customers, and internal teams
* Provide accurate updates on vehicle progress, costs, and completion times
* Prepare job cards, invoices, and relevant service documentation
* Upsell additional work where appropriate and professionally handled
* Ensure high standards of customer service throughout the process
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Confident working in a busy aftersales or service department
* Good organisation and administration skills
* Ability to manage customer expectations professionally
* Full UK driving licence preferred
* Must be within a sensible commute to Watford
