Job Description
What is the opportunity? We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an experienced Software Integration Engineer. This role is part of the Wealth Management Europe (WME) Technology & Solutions team and will provide third line support for internally developed software and assist with developing and maintaining APIs to facilitate communication between software applications.
What will you do?
1. Analyze system requirements to understand Integration needs and constraints.
2. Support in the creation of new design and development specifications based on customer requirements, while adhering to standard procedures and techniques.
3. Write code to implement integration solutions, ensuring compatibility and data consistency, reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems, applying coding and security best practices.
4. Support with the implementation of application programs; fixing any existing or newly discovered bugs.
5. Conduct thorough testing of integrated systems.
6. Troubleshoot and debug integration problems to ensure smooth functionality.
7. Create comprehensive documentation for integration processes, APIs, and configurations.
8. Manage software upgrades and updates to maintain compatibility and address any issues.
9. Implement monitoring tools to track performance of integrated systems and proactively address any issues.
10. Provide clear communication regarding progress on integration activities, challenges, and solutions to relevant stakeholders.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* Experience in C# .NET / SQL and BizTalk development.
* Proven experience in Cloud computing, services, and models (Azure, AWS, microservices).
* Development experience using C#
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell), and messaging formats (REST, XML, CSV).
Nice-to-have
* Experience of working in a Wealth Management Financial service.
* Service Oriented and API architecture, design, and development experience.
* Knowledge of Code quality review tools, e.g., SonarQube/cloud.
