<div><p>PFK Estate Agency Ltd is looking for a full-time Property Management Assistant to join our Residential Lettings team, working closely alongside the Department Manager.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous residential lettings experience who is looking to develop their career within a busy and professional environment. We would also welcome applications from individuals looking to start a career in the property sector, as full training and support will be provided, including the opportunity to gain an ARLA qualification.</p><p>As legislation within the residential lettings sector continues to evolve, we are committed to supporting your professional development through training courses, webinars, industry updates, and access to specialist advice and guidance.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Ensuring our property portfolio remains compliant and that all statutory certificates and documentation are up to date.</li><li>Administering new tenancies for both managed and non-managed properties.</li><li>Preparing associated legal documentation to current tenancies.</li><li>Processing tenant reference applications and liaising with landlords regarding the results.</li><li>Responding to landlord and tenant enquiries by telephone, email, and in person.</li><li>Keeping up to date with legislation and regulatory changes affecting the residential lettings sector.</li><li>Managing maintenance issues and coordinating repairs with contractors.</li><li>Arranging and conducting property management visits across our managed portfolio and preparing reports for landlords.</li><li>Using industry software, Office 365, and internal systems to maintain accurate records.</li><li>Monitoring and progressing contractor works to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.</li><li>Assisting with the management of client accounts and related administration.
</li><li>Advising Landlords of new legislation changes that will affect them.</li><li>Maintaining high standards of customer service at all times.</li><li>You may need to assist with other departments outside your current role at times.</li></ul><h3>What We Are Looking For</h3><ul><li>Enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to learn.</li><li>Friendly, professional, and confident when communicating with clients and colleagues.</li><li>Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Able to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.</li><li>Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Competent in Microsoft Office 365 and general computer systems.</li><li>Committed to delivering excellent customer service.</li><li>Willing to attend training courses and industry events, which may occasionally take place outside normal working hours.</li><li>Full Driving licence</li><li>Previous experience within residential lettings, property management, or estate agency.</li><li>Knowledge of current residential lettings legislation and compliance requirements.</li><li>ARLA qualification or willingness to work towards obtaining one, and we will cover the costs.</li></ul><h3>What We Offer</h3><ul><li>Full training and ongoing professional development.</li><li>Support towards obtaining ARLA qualifications.</li><li>A varied and rewarding role within a respected local estate agency.</li><li>Opportunities for career progression within the business.</li><li>A supportive and professional team environment.</li><li>Day off for your birthday.</li><li>20 days annual leave, which increases to 25 days after 5 years, plus bank holidays.</li><li>Annual Bonus if departmental target is met.</li><li>Working hours Monday – Friday / 9 am-5 pm / 35 hours per week.</li><li>Salary- £23,133 per annum - Increased salary if ARLA qualified or once ARLA qualification gained.</li></ul><p>After 150 years in business, we understand that our most valuable resource is our people.</p><p>We seek to identify and develop the future leaders of our business through a range of inspirational training and management support, ensuring that our strengths, people, culture and business continue to flourish.</p></div>
