The School
Reeson education is currently recruiting for an Independent Outreach Service in Newham. This unique provision provides quality education for children with diagnosed Special Needs such as Autism, Dyslexia and ADHD as well as Sensory prossessing issues and Speech and Language Communication needs. The School is highly successful in delivering each child with a unique learning programme, 1 to 1 tuition and intervention!
Person Specification
7. Previous experience of teaching / supporting students with SEN. (ASD, MLD, SLCN)
8. Knowledgeable of the UK curriculum - Primary
9. Skillfully able to plan effective lessons and differentiate based on each child individual needs
10. Aware of the procedure with regards to safeguarding in a school environment
11. Reliable, punctual & organised
12. Ability to develop rapport with SEN individuals
13. Playful, patient and calm with a desire to get the best out of individuals with SEN
About the Role
14. Training teachers and TAs from mainstream school settings on best practise for teaching studenst with Autism
15. You will be responsible for working 1-1 with your students in different schools across the borough and working in partnership with school staff and families
16. Planning and delivering engaging sessions for your students and completing formal assessment
17. Use relevant resources to help each student understand the learning objective
