We are recruiting for an Integrated Management System (IMS) Lead to join the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), where you will have a central role in shaping the future of the Sizewell C project. This is a unique opportunity to support the build of a 3.2-gigawatt power station, which will generate low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and be a pillar of the UK’s energy security for decades.
As IMS Lead, you will manage the creation, launch and continuous improvement of our Integrated Management System. Working as part of the Strategy & Transformation team, you will support the mobilisation of the CWA, drive organisational maturity, and ensure we maintain the highest standards of compliance and operational excellence.
In This Influential Role, You Will
 * Establish a robust Integrated Management System (IMS) that aligns with the project vision and meets all statutory and regulatory requirements
 * Act as the subject matter expert for IMS, implementing the system across delivery teams and ensuring consistent compliance
 * Identify and champion opportunities for process improvements to drive best practice and a LEAN approach throughout the Alliance
 * Set up and lead IMS assurance and governance within CWA and with Sizewell C and our parent company stakeholders
 * Work closely with Digital, IT, and Data teams to enhance the IMS platform and ensure accessibility and usability
 * Promote understanding of IMS policies and requirements across project teams and our supply chain, supporting a culture of quality and compliance
 * Ensure all activities are compliant with ISO Management Systems (including ISO 9001), client nuclear requirements and industry quality standards
 * Establish and manage a risk-based audit schedule, leading audits for project teams and suppliers
 * Lead Management Reviews, tracking improvements and driving continuous enhancement of our systems
 * Support the business in external accreditation processes, including ISO 9001, CARES and sector-specific licences
To Excel In This Role, You Will Bring
 * A BSc in engineering or science
 * ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification
 * Proven experience in integrated management systems, ideally on large-scale infrastructure or nuclear projects
 * Strong understanding of quality, health and safety, ESG and technical standards
 * Confidence working with senior management and the ability to influence at all levels
 * A proven record in leading teams and building strong relationships across delivery, project management and supply chain
 * Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
 * Digital and data proficiency
 * A formal project management qualification (desirable)
