The Opportunity
As a Senior Interior Designer, you will lead projects from concept through to completion, ensuring close alignment with the studio’s design vision and the founders’ aesthetic priorities. This role requires a highly developed design sensibility, alongside the technical expertise to translate creative concepts into fully resolved, buildable interiors.
You will take ownership of technical design development, overseeing detailed drawing packages, bespoke joinery, and consultant coordination, while ensuring that every technical decision supports and reinforces the studio’s aesthetic standards. A strong understanding of materials, proportion, and detail is essential to maintaining design integrity throughout the delivery process.
Working closely with the founders, you will play a key role in upholding and evolving the studio’s design language. You will manage and mentor designers, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and oversee project delivery to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met. Confident on-site experience and clear communication will be essential in resolving design and technical challenges while protecting the original design intent.
The Candidate
* Lead luxury hospitality and private residential projects from concept to completion
* Provide creative direction while maintaining alignment with the studio’s design language and priorities
* Oversee detailed CAD drawings, specifications, and bespoke furniture design with strong technical expertise
* Manage project teams and workflows efficiently to deliver high-quality outcomes on programme
* Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers, maintaining clear and professional communication
* Apply on-site experience to resolve design issues and ensure quality execution
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of FF&E, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and bespoke joinery
* Mentor and support junior designers, setting standards for design quality and delivery
* 7+ years’ experience within high-end hospitality and residential interiors
* Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, with strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office
