Job Advert – Residential Support Workers (x2)

We are currently seeking two dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our Children’s Services team.
As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting children and young people within a residential care setting—ensuring their safety, development, and well-being are always at the heart of what you do.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Providing day-to-day practical and emotional support to young people
* Acting as a key worker and formulating, implementing, and reviewing individual care plans
* Assisting service users with behavioural challenges and personal development
* Supporting transitions, including preparing young people to move on from care
* Ensuring medication is administered safely and appropriately
* Promoting positive relationships and safeguarding the welfare of all children in your care
* Maintaining accurate records, attending case conferences, and working in partnership with families
What We’re Looking For:
* Essential Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People or an equivalent qualification
* Experience working with vulnerable children or young people
* A caring, resilient, and team-oriented individual who can maintain professional boundaries and provide consistent care
* Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, as required
