Applicants for roles involving driving responsibilities will be required to provide proof of business insurance. Job overview Do you have skills working as a Tissue Viability or Lymphoedema nurse? We are looking for a specialist practitioner to work with our small team of motivated, innovative clinicians. You will work within the Tissue Viability and/or Lymphoedema team to provide a high quality, patient focused service for patients presenting with Tissue Viability/leg ulceration or lymphoedema/chronic oedema/issues. Our Lymphoedema service is a head to toe service and treats both cancer and non-cancer related oedema. This role will involve active participation in complex patient assessment and management out in the community and in clinics. Compensation is contingent upon NHS experience and current banding/pay point. Person specification Qualifications and training Essential criteria Registered health care professional with degree Current professional registration Evidence of continuing professional development Desirable criteria Accredited Tissue Viability course Accredited course in leg ulcer management Chronic oedema course Experience Essential criteria Recent and proven experience in tissue viability/lymphoedema care and management, including: wound care, leg ulceration, chronic oedema Experience of working in a community healthcare setting Proven experience of nurse led clinics Desirable criteria Experience of leadership in a lymphoedema/ tissue viability setting Skills Essential criteria Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to run and manage clinics Current UK Full, clean driving licence with daily access to a vehicle for work purposes (business class insurance will be required) Computer literate Desirable criteria EMIS literate.
