About the role
The Collection Management team within LCCOS Museums & Cultural Programmes directly manages our loans and collections care & conservation programmes. We are responsible for object storage, transportation, documentation and policy and procedure alongside managing our flagship teaching space the Object Based Learning Laboratory.
Core duties and responsibilities include administration of long and short-term loans, acquisitions, and disposals. The post holder will develop and implement collections management policies and procedures and contribute to strategic planning as well as provide support to other UCL collection holding departments.
This is a Grade 7 role, with salary scales £43,- £52, per annum (calculated pro-rated amount for part-time hours, inclusive of London Allowance).
We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever. This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 60% on site.

About you
We are looking for candidates who in particular have the following experience and skills:
Proven knowledge and understanding of collections management and loan procedures including acquisitions and disposals; facility reports; packing, transport, handling and display requirements; environmental standards; insurance, indemnity and security issues.
Ability to engage and negotiate with diverse stakeholders to build relationships across UCL and externally to inform and advocate for best practice.
Experience of developing and implementing collections management standards, policies and procedures.
Ability to work effectively at pace, plan and prioritise workload whilst maintaining good communication across all teams
