Plymouth | £22,400 – £25,600 per annum (Dependant on experience) Part-time, Permanent (30 hrs per week)

Plymouth City Projects Limited is a growing organisation with a diverse portfolio, including property management, student accommodation, and commercial operations. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team and play a key role in supporting our continued success.
The Role
As our Finance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations. This is a hands-on role where you'll support the Finance Manager and wider team, providing accurate financial information to help guide decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments
* Preparing bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow
* Assisting with monthly management accounts and year-end processes
* Supporting payroll processing and pension administration
* Maintaining accurate financial records in line with company policies
* Assisting with budget preparation and financial reporting
* Liaising with auditors, suppliers, and internal teams as required
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, accurate, and confident working with numbers. The ideal candidate will be:
* Experienced in a finance or accounts role (minimum 2 years preferred)
* Proficient with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar) and MS Excel
* Knowledgeable about financial regulations and processes
* A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
* A team player with the ability to work independently when needed
Working Hours
* Monday – Thursday: 09:00 – 17:30 (with 1-hour lunch)
* Total: 30 hours per week
