Job Title: Sponsorship Sales Executive Salary: £40,000-£65,000 (DOE commission potential) Location: Ware, Hertfordshire (Office-based, 5 days per week) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Industry: Events / Exhibitions / Conferences About the Role We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Sponsorship Sales Executive to spearhead sponsorship revenue across a portfolio of established and growing events. This is an office-based role where you'll be central to developing strong relationships, creating value-led sponsorship packages, and securing long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities Proactively generate new sponsorship leads and convert them into long-term clients. Manage, nurture, and grow existing sponsor accounts. Develop compelling sponsorship proposals tailored to client objectives. Conduct outbound sales calls, meetings, and presentations to senior decision-makers. Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and accurately forecast revenue. Work closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, event production) to deliver high-quality sponsorship experiences. Conduct market research to identify new sectors and partnership opportunities. Represent the company at events, networking sessions, and industry functions. Skills & Experience Required Proven track record in B2B sponsorship or media sales (events experience preferred). Confident in outbound sales, negotiation, and closing high-value deals. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong commercial awareness and ability to understand client needs. Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comfortable working full-time from the office.
