As our Senior Technical Architect, you will provide the visionary roadmap for our IT infrastructure while acting as the senior technical escalation point for the department. You will balance complex project delivery with stakeholder management, ensuring our innovations constantly question conventional thinking.
Key Responsibilities
* Architectural Vision: Design and implement roadmaps for storage, hosting, and physical hardware.
* Hands-on Delivery: Lead the technical execution of complex infrastructure projects from the front.
* Innovation: Deliver new IT capabilities that improve team performance on and off the track.
* Mentorship: Guide and grow the next generation of engineers through active mentoring and training.
* Critical Escalation: Serve as the final word on high-level technical issues across a broad range of IT topics.
What We Need From You
We are looking for a unique profile: a networking expert who is far more than just a "Network Engineer." You should be a generalist at heart with specialist-level execution.
Technical Expertise
* Broad Infrastructure Knowledge: Deep experience in Networking (CCNP level), but equally proficient in modern Storage, Hosting, and Physical Hardware.
* Architectural Design: Proven ability to design enterprise applications, middleware, and cloud platforms.
* Network Design: Experience implementing and managing enterprise WAN/LAN communications.
* Automation: Knowledge of scripting, orchestration, and automation techniques to drive efficiency.
Leadership & Soft Skills
* Active Architect: You are currently "in the weeds" delivering infrastructure, not just managing vendors.
* Stakeholder Management: Confident communicating technical roadmaps to business leaders and non-technical staff.
* Pressure Management: The ability to deliver quality under the demanding SLAs of a Formula 1 environment.
* Financial Acumen: Understanding of cost management and financial planning for large-scale IT projects.
Qualifications & Attribute
* Education: Degree in a Technology or Science subject (or equivalent experience).
* Certifications: CCNP and ITIL v3/v4 Foundation are highly desirable.
* The F1 Mindset: You must be success-driven, flexible, and open to supporting race weekends as required by the business.
* Detail-Oriented: A diligent approach with a growth mindset.
