In this role, you will lead a team of researchers (Content Management Analysts and Content Editing Associates), who update highly complex, specific legal, tax, and compliance information from various sources. You will also coordinate the expansion of the teams informative guide content as well as providing new thought leadership efforts in the field of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), as the team expands their knowledge and product in this area.
Areas of responsibilities:
1. Product Ownership - Becomes a subject matter expert in the relevant product domains. It is expected the Compliance Manager will quickly become an expert in the product from a feature / functionality perspective and will be able to proficiently demonstrate product functionality while articulating the value to clients
2. Content Knowledge and Research (Global Tax, Laws and Regulations) – The Compliance Manager will ensure the current product content is correct and well-presented whilst also continuing to research and expand their subject knowledge to better support current and future products. Using their ability to break down complex information into an easily digestible form to support the creation of user stories as products evolve
3. Team Management – The Compliance Manager will coordinate with team members to make sure that all parties are on track to meet the current and future business needs. They will meet with project team members to identify and resolve any issues as well as ensuring the team are on track to submit project deliverables and that they adhere to quality standards. Support the adaption of current content portfolio to access and support new areas of the business
4. Leadership – The Compliance Manager will support the teams roadmap definition, working with the senior management to help develop the rolling 3 year vision with near term and long term priorities for the product portfolio including target customer segment(s), focus areas for solution portfolio, success criteria and goals, etc
5. Market Knowledge – The Compliance Manager will develop an understanding of the global target market and user base and use this to help support product/content decisions. Maintain continued awareness of global industry changes and compliance changes in international corporate tax and technology
Requirements:
6. Bachelor’s degree in law, Economics, Tax & Accounting or any relevant field
7. Understanding of recent Environmental, Social, and Governance initiatives & International tax law
8. At least 3 years of experience with high workload capability; content projects in various stages of completion
9. Minimum 1 year of experience with people management and Project Management (would be advantage)
