GSL Education are searching for a committed Teaching Assistant to work in Newcastle, supporting teachers and students in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will assist with classroom activities, provide help to individual pupils and small groups, and encourage students to stay focused and confident in their learning.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
* Work with individual pupils and small groups to provide additional learning support.
* Help maintain a positive and well-structured classroom environment.
* Assist in preparing learning materials and resources.
* Support pupils’ wellbeing and promote inclusive learning.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a school-based role is desirable.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude.
* A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one).
