Overview
SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs required in West Yorkshire. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support. The role focuses on 1:1 tutoring with young people to transform their engagement and educational journey.

The SEN / SEND Tutor role
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted Provision
* These young people are referred by local authorities and schools and require support in their educational and social-emotional journey
* Deliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
SEN / SEND Tutor tasks and responsibilities
* Plan each tutoring/mentoring session
* Deliver holistic and engaging sessions aligned to individual needs and progress
* Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress
SEN / SEND Tutor requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD or other Additional Educational Needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (support to obtain at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* UK work eligibility; remote work accepted
SEN / SEND Tutor employment status
* Engage with us as a Worker for short-term engagements as they arise
* Contract for service with PAYE payments
* No guaranteed hours or expenses coverage
* Company insurance covers work performed
* This is not a self-employed tutoring/teaching position
