Responsibilities
You will be part of a compassionate team committed to patients’ wellbeing, using proven therapies to support recovery and build healthier futures. Key duties include:
* Work as Senior Nurse in the Ward or equivalent area, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families and visitors.
* Apply relevant policies and statutory requirements within the ward and hospital framework and communicate them to the wider team.
* Ensure risk is assessed and managed across the immediate and wider working environment, meeting statutory requirements.
* Respect and apply diversity and inclusion requirements, promoting them across the team.
* Assist qualified staff with assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment.
Qualifications and Experience
* Registered Mental Health Nurse with active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, meeting all requirements for revalidation.
* Trained Assessor or Supervisor, with clinical supervision experience essential and formal training desirable.
* At least 18 months to 2 years of post‑registration experience in a clinical speciality.
* Strong commitment to continuous professional development and leadership.
* Good computer skills.
