Develop and implement robust commodity and supplier strategies to meet business needs across all stakeholder areas.
*
Drive cost reduction and resourcing programmes, ensuring minimal disruption to existing supply chains.
*
Collaborate closely with internal customers to ensure early engagement and excellent customer care.

Integrate procurement within the project management process, participating as a core team member in project and sales meetings to influence early-stage decisions.
*
Analyse scope of supply, contract agreements, and sales/operations planning to provide procurement insights and recommendations.
*
Lead or support specialist buyers in contractual and price negotiations for strategic long-term contracts (5–10 years).
Your Profile:
*
6–15 years’ experience in strategic sourcing/commodity management, with a clear focus on strategic rather than operational procurement.
*
Strong commercial, contractual, and project management acumen.
*
Proven experience managing long-term contract negotiations and strategic supplier relationships.
*
Familiarity with aerospace/industrial component manufacturing and quality standards
*
Excellent Excel, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
*
Experience working in a complex, fast-changing global organisation with a matrix reporting structure.

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree and/or CIPS qualification highly desirable.
Why This Role:
*
Be part of a critical programme supporting the launch of a new engine with long-term strategic impact.
*
Competitive daily rate and the opportunity to influence procurement strategy at a senior level.
*
Exposure to global supplier networks and strategic project management in a high-growth environment
