About the Role
In this pivotal role, you’ll own our digital strategy end‑to‑end, building a high-performing paid media engine, leading multi‑channel campaigns and using data to drive measurable growth across web and app.

Our Pet Insurance proposition is launching later this year, adding a completely fresh strand to the Pets at Home Petcare ecosystem, and you’ll be at the heart of shaping its growth from day one. You’ll build and scale a digital strategy from the ground up, with the freedom to innovate, test and influence how we connect with pet owners.

The role offers hybrid working from our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire. You’ll be required to work two days per week in the office.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Owning and delivering the digital strategy to drive lead generation and new customer acquisition
* Building and executing our Paid Media strategy, then expanding into the broader digital mix
* Managing all digital channels: Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Pay Per Click (PPC), display, affiliates, paid social, organic content, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and email automation
* Analysing and optimising performance using Google Analytics 4 and attribution tools to improve Return On Investment and conversion rates
* Enhancing user journeys through website User Experience (UX)/Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), brand content, social media and influencer activity
* Leading teams and agencies to deliver high-impact, on‑brand, compliant campaigns (FCA & GDPR)
* Driving innovation, bringing fresh ideas, technologies and test‑and‑learn practices to keep us ahead of the market
About You
* Several years’ digital marketing experience, ideally in fintech, insurance or pet/veterinary sectors
* Strong hands‑on capability across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn Ads, automation platforms and first‑party data
* Highly analytical, experienced in attribution modelling and performance optimisation
* Excellent communication skills, able to turn complex insights into clear strategies
* Proven experience building a performance marketing engine across tracking, automation and optimisation
* Real empathy for pet owners and an understanding of the Petcare landscape
