Operations Manager – Financial Services
Location: City of London (4 days in the office, 1 day working from home)
Full-time | Competitive salary + bonus
We’re working with a high-growth real estate investment fund based in the heart of the City. With a diverse and expanding portfolio, the business is looking for a sharp, highly organised Operations Manager to support senior leadership and keep the operational wheels turning smoothly.
The Role:
This is a broad, hands-on role at the heart of our operations, supporting the Senior Leadership team across all areas of the business. You will be the go-to person behind the scenes, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, keeping the team organised, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
The role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, takes ownership, and is comfortable juggling responsibilities across finance, compliance, investor relations, and general business operations. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day support to the CFO and Founders across investment and operational matters.
* Organise investor and board meetings, including scheduling support for board meeting materials and follow-up support for key action points.
* Manage executive calendars, inboxes, travel logistics, expense tracking, and internal communications.
* Act as the main point of contact for external enquiries, managing information flow and acting as a gatekeeper for senior stakeholders.
* Taking ownership of the Business Continuity process, expense management process and critically the IT framework of the Company
* Oversee documentation for the corporate entities, supporting update of policies and procedures and ensuring records are up-to-date, accurate, and compliant.
* Handle due diligence materials, regulatory compliance documentation, and KYC/AML records.
* Coordinate with external legal, tax, and financial advisors to drive reporting requirements.
* Support financial administration across both real estate and private investment activities.
* Drive operational projects as required
* Negotiate office contracts, oversee leasing documentation, and ensure compliance with legal and financial obligations.
* Maintain relationships with key vendors and contractors, ensuring H&S, insurance, and maintenance documentation is in place and up to date.
* Supporting the marketing manager with marketing documents
* Drive social, D&I and charity programs
About you:
* Previous experience in operations, compliance, or office management– ideally within real estate, private equity, or investment management.
* Strong attention to detail and able to handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion.
* Highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Happy in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
* Tech-savvy and comfortable dealing with basic IT issues or acting as a liaison with service providers.
