Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support pupils’ academic progress and emotional development. You will play a key role in helping create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in lesson delivery and classroom organisation.
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, as needed.
* Encourage student engagement and positive behaviour.
* Assist with classroom preparation, resources, and activities.
* Communicate effectively with staff and contribute to a cohesive school environment.
Requirements for TA:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
* A proactive, patient, and caring attitude.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with no unexplained gaps).
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
