Children and Family Wellbeing Service (CFW) is part of Lancashire County Council's Education and Children's Services. It offers early help and support to children, young people aged 0-19yrs (25yrs for young people with special educational needs and disabilities) and their families across Lancashire. This opportunity is also available to grade 4,5,6 and Assistant / Youth Support staff employed within The Children and Family Wellbeing Service. Reporting to the Family Support Development Officer, post holders will play an integral role in the smooth running of the HAF programme within their allocated delivery teams. This will include supporting the sourcing, planning, coordinating and promoting of a programme of activities for children and young people within their allocated delivery team area over the school holiday periods. The role will report to the Family Support Development Officer and work very closely with the provider organisations and other key stakeholders. Post holders will oversee the delivery of high-quality informal education, prevention and early intervention opportunities which help improve children and family outcomes. Information and support provided through discussion with District Council HAF leads will ensure that children and young people have access to appropriate, high quality and accessible HAF provision that will impact positively on children and young people to ensure that they are able wherever possible to be able to reach their potential. Post holders will take a lead role in supporting the delivery of HAF activities within their delivery team and will work with parents and carers to use the HAF booking system, proactively monitor bookings and session uptake, monitor bookings and session uptake, identify sessions that need promoting, respond to queries and produce documentation for sessions. Post holders will liaise with HAF providers within their delivery area, particularly the District Councils and work in partnership with district group work and community teams to support the delivery of programmes to increase the uptake of activities by children and young people who meet the eligibility criteria for HAF provision. The HAF Facilitators will build positive relationships with both internal and external partners, stakeholders, parents and children and build mutual trust and respect.
