Job Title: Driver / Relief Warehouse Operative Location: Nottingham Reports to: Branch Manager Hours: Monday – Thursday, 08:00am – 17:00pm and Friday 08:00am – 16:00pm with 30 minutes for lunch We’re looking for a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a 3.5T Delivery Driver, with additional support to the Warehouse Team when back in the branch, helping to drive KPI performance across the team. This role is a blend of driving and hands-on warehouse duties, perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday. Key responsibilities: Multi-Drop Deliveries: using a 3.5-tonne vehicle across Nottingham / Surrounding areas Vehicle Management: Ensure timely loading and unloading of the van, maintaining cleanliness and performing routine checks. Delivery System Usage: Utilise a mobile phone-based delivery system to manage routes and customer interactions. Warehouse Support: Assist in warehouse operations, including picking, packing. Requirements: Driving Experience: Proven experience driving large vans, with multi-drop experience Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle physically demanding tasks. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using mobile devices for delivery management. Team Player: Willingness to support warehouse operations and collaborate with team members. Ideal Candidate: Experienced Driver: Knowledgeable of routes across Nottingham and surrounding areas and familiar with rural & city driving Adaptable: Ready to switch between driving and warehouse tasks as needed.
