Job Purpose
As Digital Experience Manager you will oversee all content production for our website.
Ensuring that all content is engaging, meets customer expectations, and drives successful online journeys. You will also collaborate with a broad range of internal stakeholders to deliver on various projects and will take ownership of online journey performance through analytics and insights.
The role includes line management responsibilities for two team members and accountability for managing an external digital agency.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Content Management:
* Oversee the creation, editing, and publication of all website content.
* Ensure all content is engaging, accurate, and aligned with customer expectations.
* Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and relevant content updates.
Online Journey Performance:
* Take ownership of the online customer journey, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
* Utilise analytics and insights to understand journey performance and identify areas for improvement.
* Implement changes to online journeys based on data-driven insights to enhance user experience and achieve business goals.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
* Work closely with a broad range of internal stakeholders, including marketing, product, and IT teams, to deliver on projects.
* Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
Team Management:
* Provide line management for two team members, offering guidance, support, and development opportunities.
* Foster a positive and productive team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
Agency Management:
* Manage the relationship with an external digital agency, ensuring high-quality deliverables and alignment with business objectives.
* Oversee agency performance and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Technical Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in content management and online journey optimization.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience in managing a team and working with external agencies.
* Proficiency in content management systems (CMS – preferably Optimizely) and web analytics tools.
* Knowledge of SEO best practices.
* Experience with A/B testing
* Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles.
