Overview

Salary MPR / UPR (£32,916 to £51,048). Carlton le Willows Academy are looking to appoint a Teacher of Performing Arts to join our academy in September 2026 on a full time, temporary basis. Part time hours can be considered for this role.

On our large and leafy campus students also benefit from access to a number of grass football pitches, netball courts and a national standard table tennis centre, alongside a £1m football pavilion and all-weather pitches.

Results

With a consistent record of high academic attainment, Carlton le Willows remains one of the top performing schools in the area - achieving the best ever results in the school's history this summer. Results for 2025 saw 85% of students achieve a Grade 4 or above in English and Maths, compared with a 65% national average. In total 69% of students secured a strong pass of a Grade 5 or above in those two core subjects- far exceeding the national average of 46% and meaning we are placed well above similar schools nationally. A level students in our high performing sixth form also celebrated strong results with more than 91% of the cohort securing a place at their first choice university, retaining our reputation for academic excellence post 16.
