Behaviour Support Assistant New Milton Full time Temporary and permanent roles available Start date - September 2025 or ASAP The School and Role An Alternative Provision school based in New Milton are currently seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to start in September or as soon as possible. The school caters for secondary age pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as challenging behaviour. This role is an amazing opportunity for somebody who wants to make a difference to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and support young people to access education. You will offer guidance and support both in the classroom, and also with their social and emotional development. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work closely with our students to promote positive behaviour, support their emotional well-being, and help them develop essential life skills. You will implement behaviour strategies, assist with classroom management, and contribute to creating a supportive learning environment. Requirements The desired Teaching Assistant will have; - Experience of working with primary and/or secondary school aged children - Experience of working with pupils with SEND/SEMH and challenging behaviour. - A passion for the progress of pupils - An ability to work as part of a team What we offer As part of our team, you benefit from: · Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
