Event Manager - FR/ENG Bilingual (remote, London based)

Company: FinEvents

Salary Expectation: £40-45,000 per annum

Location: London area (Remote)

Experience: 3-5 years

French-English bilingual (French native level)

Reporting to: Global Head of Events

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

25 days of annual leave + UK public holidays

Your Contributions

* End‑to‑end planning and delivery of conferences and events (in‑person, virtual, and hybrid), from inception through to post‑event wrap‑up
* Event budgets: creation, approvals, cost tracking, contract negotiation, invoice processing, reconciliation, and reporting
* Timeline creation and milestone tracking; status updates to internal stakeholders and clients
* Coordination with Event Tech team to ensure seamless registration, website updates, attendee reporting, and client communications
* Vendor and supplier management (venue, catering, A/V, production, staging, speakers, accommodations, gifting, etc.)
* On‑site: preparation of detailed run‑of‑show, briefing of staff/suppliers, and live event execution (domestic and international)
* Strong collaboration with internal teams: marketing, design, tech, legal, and data to ensure smooth delivery
* Contribution to internal knowledge base of venues, cities, and partners; continuously recommend improvements and innovations
* Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members when needed
* Ensure compliance with client standards and risk processes


What We’re Looking For

* Solid experience in full‑cycle event and project management, including pitching and budget and supplier ownership
* Strong working knowledge of international destinations (London, Paris, New York, Toronto) and venue/supplier networks
* Proven ability to manage senior‑level clients and internal stakeholders with confidence
* Hands‑on experience with virtual and hybrid events and related platforms (Cvent, Appcraft, SpotMe a plus)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organized, proactive, and calm under pressure; can manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
* Technically confident: good command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
* Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
* A team player with a client‑focused mindset, emotional intelligence, and adaptability across work styles
* Willingness to travel for site inspections and on‑site delivery when required
* A genuine passion for events, curiosity about new tools, and a mindset for continuous improvement
* This is a remote position; however, you are expected to reside in and remain within the London area to support our events.
