Finance Manager

Cognisant has been instructed instructed to appoint a Finance Manager for a growing, well funded housebuilder. Your role will have a hands‑on approach to financial management, analysis and reporting and ensure that day‑to‑day finances and budgets run smoothly.
Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly Management Accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Oversee cost control processes and identify opportunities for cost savings.
* Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
* Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and report on variances.
* Work closely with senior management and other departments to support overall business objectives.
* Report on build and sales progress providing weekly cashflow forecasts.
Qualifications
You will be a qualified accountant with strong attention to detail, and a background in the housebuilding sector. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
