Job Summary:
The primary focus of the role will be to work closely with internal teams and external partners to support and drive analysis, strategy, and execution of the Industry Development agenda. Strong analytical skills and end-to-end ownership are critical. This role will require working with other product areas, strategy, regulatory affairs, public affairs, legal, technology operations, and fintech centres of excellence, as well as external engagement with industry associations, regulators, and vendors. The role is based out of London, and reports to the head of Industry Development.
Job Responsibilities:
* Provide oversight and coordination of key Industry Associations relationships, regulatory initiatives tracking, and engagement strategy. A key focus will be on T+1 settlement advocacy and industry engagement.
* Engage and assist the team in analysis, strategy recommendations, and engagement agenda for key FMI and industry utilities.
* Analyse opportunities from the changing post-trade landscape and regulations to support the development of products and partnerships with internal and external providers to roll out new digital products and services.
* Prepare and update briefing papers with recommendations for senior management regarding project initiation or watch status.
* Coordinate with relevant product industry development leads and SMEs to ensure complete and accurate information collection to define project requirements.
* Work with product owners to ensure resources are allocated to projects as per success criteria.
* Create key metrics to track progress of industry initiatives and develop reporting to keep management informed of progress, risks, and challenges.
* Engage with clients through bilateral discussions and publications on industry and regulatory developments impacting the post-trade landscape.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
* Self-starter with a drive to learn quickly and independently; ability to think innovatively.
* Good industry knowledge, gained from operations, product management, or client service roles.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate stakeholders towards common goals.
* Interest in digital innovations like digital assets and AI, and their impact on Custody/Securities Services.
* Ability to understand and articulate post-trade business concepts clearly.
* Business acumen with experience in data analysis and business case development.
* Experience in product management and understanding of regulatory environments is a plus.
* Strong analytical, collaboration, presentation, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for communication and presentation.
