Job Title: Psychotherapist
Location: Medway Green School - Kent ME1 3TS
Salary: Up to £52,000 FTE DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Part-Time also considered)
Contract: Permanent - Term Time only (There may be scope for a full-time contract if this is your preference)
We are participating in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week (4DWW). If the trial is successful, 4DWW may be rolled out across the Group. This could affect working hours and patterns.
Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Psychotherapist to join our developing Clinical Team based at Medway Green School. You will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs. You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to help pupils be safe, comfortable and healthy. You will undertake all aspects of Psychotherapy clinical duties, adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carry out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and prepare relevant documentation including reports. A significant element is working with the onsite clinical team to develop the clinical service provision, including providing support and training to staff and parents.

Essential Criteria
* Evidence of recognised professional qualification as Psychotherapist, either Level 7 (e.g. Master’s degree) or above OR Level 6 relevant degree with relevant therapeutic diplomas and experience of working with the relevant client group and methods of service delivery.
* Registered member of HCPC, BACP, BABCP, PTUK, NCPC or UKCP
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* Experience of working with people with neurodivergence and/or complex needs (e.g., complex trauma, neurodevelopmental differences, mental health needs)
* Ability to work independently as agreed under supervision
* Experience of multi-professional work teams or services within the designated specialty
* Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
