SEND Teacher – (Full-Time) – Start January
The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with The Prospere Trust to recruit a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher for Prospect House in Blackley. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with a range of special educational needs in a highly supportive and well-resourced setting.
This role is available for a January start and will continue for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
✅ The Role
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with a variety of SEND needs
Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles and EHCP requirements
Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants, therapists, and wider multi-agency teams
Create a safe, inclusive classroom that promotes emotional regulation, independence, and positive behaviour
Track and assess pupil progress, ensuring learning is meaningful and achievable
About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – SEND experience or special school experience preferred
Strong understanding of SEND approaches, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, or complex learning difficulties
Patient, calm, compassionate, and able to adapt to change
Confident in using personalised learning strategies and a creative teaching approach
Able to build positive relationships with pupils, families, and staff
