Childrens Support Worker Location: Longridge, Preston - PR£ Pay Rate - £13.50 per hour Immediate starts available! Shift Pattern: Waking Nights 10pm-8am Hours - 30hr or 40hr contracts available (3-4 shifts per week) Do you want to support children with Autism and Learning Disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives? Childrens Support Worker duties include: Key Responsibilities: * Provide 1:1 or 2:1 support to young people, including those with challenging behaviours * Assist with personal care and daily living activities * Implement and follow individualised care plans to meet the needs of each young person * Ensure the safety and well-being of the young people at all times * Support young people to engage with their education at Vetro Regional School * Be available for full-time work To be successful in this role, you will: * Have experience working with children with complex needs * Be patient, empathetic, and resilient in the face of challenging behaviours * Be able to work independently and as part of a team * Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one) * Have the right to work in the UK * Experience supporting children in a similar environment Interested?
