Cast UK is recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking client for a Purchasing Coordinator to play a key role in their procurement and supply chain team. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and process purchase orders
* Action MRP recommendations and maintain ERP data
* Liaise with suppliers and track order progress
* Support supplier negotiations and relationship management
* Monitor KPIs and identify cost-saving opportunities
* Assist with supplier sourcing and NPI projects
* Collaborate with planning and operations teams
* Handle purchasing admin and internal communications
What We're Looking For:
* At least 2 years' experience in a purchasing or supply chain role
* Proven ability in supplier sourcing and relationship management
* Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels
* Proficient in MRP/ERP systems, ideally within an SME environment
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Professional procurement qualification (. CIPS) preferred or working towards
* Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
